At a time of year when it’s common to ask for your end of year giving, we’d like to take a moment and express our gratitude. You’ve already given us the opportunity to serve you. You have already partnered financially with us. Thank you!
SHIELD is founded on Jesus’ instruction in Matthew 6:33:
“Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.”
This is our mission, our goal and our highest calling. We see this everyday as you and I grow in our intentional willingness to seek His kingdom first.
TO OUR CLIENTS
Thank you for trusting us. Together we’ve seen the LORD do amazing things through us and all around us. Yet, I’m certain most of all we’ve seen Him do the most amazing works ‘within’ us. Thank you for allowing us to walk with you on this journey. Thank you for allowing us to listen to you and pray with you in your deepest struggles. Thank you for permitting us to not only stand for you but for continuing to allow us to lead you closer to your King. We believe the LORD connected us specifically for your blessing. He’s made us ambassadors to help you see in the natural what He is already providing for you in spirit. Hang on, the ride has only begun . . . Jesus continues His work in all of us and we’re committed to the whole journey. In faith, we agree with Paul:
“And I am sure of this, He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
He is faithful. He is still working in you. Keep walking with Him!
TO OUR SUPPORTERS
Thank you for partnering with us! Thank you for trusting the LORD and ourselves with what you often cannot see in the natural. We could not do what we do, how we do, when we do or many times for who we do without your support. The LORD knew this, even when we had grander plans. JT and more than one wise advisor had solid plans of how we’d structure, operate, market and minister. Through humbling obedience and Kingdom sensitivity He turned nearly all of our plans on their head. Holy Spirit has repeatedly, gently and patiently shown us that we’re to do things the way He leads, not the way the world or flesh tell us we should. For example, we do not have a campaign or plan to ask supporters for money. Don’t misunderstand, we’ve had ideas and intentions. The LORD repeatedly put us on hold when opportunities to ask arose or could’ve been created.
We are sharing this with you for two specific reasons -
First, to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generosity and partnership with the LORD. SHIELD thrived in 2021 because the LORD, in part through you, provided everything we needed to operate and most importantly to minister.
Second, we believe your sowing financially has been a prompting of the Spirit. We believe that your giving to support SHIELD has been a faith response on your part. For us, as ministers of Christ, this is what we’ve given our life to, seeing others connect with Him personally, deeply, to the point of Kingdom focus and obedience! Know that we not only labor in ministry, we praise Jesus because of you!!
This has been a daunting faith journey, yet the LORD is faithful! We’ve sought first His kingdom and He has provided. We believe 2022 will be a season where we see even more of His faithfulness. Not because of us, but simply because of who He is.
Together, we see an incredible horizon ahead for SHIELD; more work, more service, more ministering. We do not see a change to why we do or how we’re able to do it. While we see the LORD preparing expanded opportunities to minister, we do not sense Him changing how He’s lead us to operate so far.
All of which leads us, with further resolve, to count the cost and make a choice.
WALKING INTO 2022
We will continue to seek first His kingdom.
We will continue to serve in faith, trusting in Him for the ability to do what we’re assigned to do, speaking spiritually and naturally.
We will not seek to build a brand.
We will not seek to build a business or our own sustainability.
We will continue to labor for the Kingdom of God.
We will not seek to grow for growth's sake or to appear successful.
Obedience and faith will be our measure of success.
We will leave the outcomes up to God alone.
To God alone be all glory!
To Christ Jesus our King!
Only through Holy Spirit our Helper!
In the matchless name of Jesus our LORD and coming King.
May the LORD bless you and protect you,
May He make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you,
May He show you His favor and give you His peace.
